One of the more common styles for block paving in Rugby is Tegula paving. It is generally laid using the three different sizes to create a cobble styled driveway. The installation process with Tegula paving follows the same process as normal block paving. Removing the existing driveway, putting in a new base foundation of type 1 MOT, river wash sand for setting the level of the Tegula paving and laying the Tegula on top.
The general pattern for Tegula is a stretchered offset bond but this will vary depending on how many sizes you are going to be using. If you are using one size staggered offset bond is used or it can be laid in a 45° or 90° pattern.
